Let’s play golf!
We are delighted to host a two-day golf tournament with 64 participants at the EuroGames Bern 2023. The tournament will take place on the 27th and 28th of July, from 09:00 to 17:00 each day. You can find the Friday’s starting list here.
The tournament will take place at Golfpark Moossee, located approximately 10 km from Bern.
Meals
On Thursday and Friday, a refreshment service will be provided. Vouchers for this service (including dinner on Friday) can be purchased at a special price of CHF 61.00 during the check-in on Thursday. After the round of play on Thursday, participants have the option to dine à la carte at the golf park’s restaurant and pay for their own meals.
On Friday, after the awards ceremony, there will be a shared dinner with options for both vegetarian and vegan dishes. On Thursday, a voucher (including refreshments on both days) can be purchased at a special price of CHF 61.00 during the check-in. If anyone wishes to bring a guest to the dinner, please inform us in advance at golf@eurogames2023.ch – thank you.
Equipment
All participants play with their own equipment. If you would like to rent equipment, please contact the Pro Shop directly at +41 31 862 11 88.
Handicap
Participation in the tournament requires a handicap of 54 or lower.
Golf carts
The use of a golf cart requires the presentation of a medical certificate.
Accompanying persons
Unfortunately, accompanying persons are not allowed on the golf course (with the exception of registered caddies).
Practice rounds
Participants interested to play practice rounds before the start of the tournament can book them directly at Golfplatz Moossee (please note the discounted «twilight rates» after 16:00).

Rules
The tournaments will be judged according to the rules of the Royal and Ancient Club of St. Andrews . In addition, the course rules of the Moossee Golf Course apply.

Registering for EuroGames 2023
Registration is open to everyone above the age of 18 regardless of skill level, sexual orientation, gender identity and nationality. A registration fee is required for all athletes.

Good to know
Golfpark Moossee is embedded in the idyllic landscape around a nature reserve. The 18-hole course meets the demands of both the ambitious competitive player and the golf beginner.
How to get there
You can reach Golfpark Moossee within 20 minutes by car from Bern.
Public transport is available by taking the S Trains 3 and 31 from Bern’s main station to the «Münchenbuchsee» stop. From there it is a 16 minute walk to the golf course (1,4 km). If you have a Bern Ticket, you will need to be buy a connecting ticket for 1 zone.
We are currently exploring the option of making a shuttle available to golf participants.
