We need your energy!
Will you support us with your energy during EuroGames and Bern Pride in 2023? Then be a volunteer when Europe’s biggest LGBTIQ+ sporting event and Bern Pride take place in Bern at the end of July 2023! With your commitment, you will make a valuable contribution to the visibility of our community and inclusion in sport and society.
It is important to us that you can decide for yourself where you want to work. That’s why our volunteer tool “Tautoko” lists the exact work shifts and you can choose according to your availability. This way, you can support us in the areas you enjoy most and are most enthusiastic about. However, you can only register with one crew.
Volunteering at EuroGames and Bern Pride 2023
We are a non-profit organisation with the aim of staging the EuroGames and Bern Pride in the Swiss capital from 26 to 29 July 2023. We depend on the help of around 500 volunteers for the smooth realisation, because this international sporting event cannot take place without volunteer work!
We expect around 2,500 athletes to compete in 20 sports over four days. The BernPride will take place on Saturday afternoon with over 10,000 participants.
Are you interested in supporting us in the preparation and realisation of this great event and in creating a safe environment for the many guests of the two events? Then sign up as a volunteer!
In return, we promise you a unique international experience, exciting encounters and lots of fun together! You will have the opportunity to experience the event first-hand and actively participate in organising it. It will be an experience you will never forget!
All Volunteers receive

- A Swatch Watch EuroGames if you register for 4 days and at least 16 hours
- A badge

- Free transport during work
- Meals during work
- Invitation to the volunteers’ party on 25 August 2023
Roles and Chancen
Throughout the event, there will be various activities for volunteers. These can be, for example:
- Volunteer for a sport, e.g. ensuring a well run tournament, briefing the athletes, collecting the results and handing out the medals.
- Work in the EuroGames Village e.g. bar work, musician support, ensuring security
- Supporting our social media team with photographing the athletes
- Sprinter to ensure connections and if help is needed somewhere
- Helping with the logistics of these two major events
Most work shifts are scheduled during the event (26-29 July 2023) and will take place in Bern. You can find a more detailed description on the Tautoko crew portal.
